Savanah Sparrow on Post (New)
These little song birds are common throughout Newfoundland. I find it hard to resist stalking them a little when I have a long lens on my camera. This one was shot in Bonavista while it perched on a fence post in the evening.
Nikon D200 with 70-200 2.8 VR + Nikon TC 17E-II AF-S. Shot wide open. I’m more or less pleased with the sharpness. The boekh is a knockout for sure.
RAW conversion by NX Capture. Final processing in CS2 for sharpening and add border.
