I’ve had this shot left around since some of my winter bird shoots at Quidi Vidi. I didn’t really like it at first but it seems to have grown on me so I decided to post it.
Birds are mainly best when shot against a blue sky. However, I am handicapped some where I live as "blue sky" can sometimes be rare. On the other hand, I do believe white or almost white birds actually look interesting against a grey white sky as does this immature Glaucous Gull.
