Camera 35 is a photography club based out of St. John’s, Newfoundland. The club was officially founded around 1979, but there is record of predecessor groups dating back to the early 1950s, comprising well-known St. John’s names, such as Ray Tooton, Maurice Wilansky, Ern Maunder, and even Gerald S. Doyle.
The club currently has approximately 40 members who meet every second Wednesday evening from September to June at the College of the North Atlantic on Prince Phillip Drive. Club activities include show and tell, critic’s corner, discussion groups, workshops, theme competitions, guest speakers, club outings and more.
